Courtney Strawhand is frequently the first point of contact for clients – whether by phone or in person at the office. Courtney provides support to the firm’s principals and to clients as a valuable resource, whether presented with simple or complex issues. Behind the scenes, Courtney is responsible for the firm’s operations which involves everything from processing business, acting as a liaison to the underwriters, and most importantly ensuring that clients go through a positive, efficient, and seamless experience.

Courtney has been with the firm since its inception but most importantly she has worked with co-founder David Stephens since 2002.

Courtney’s loyalty and dedication to her job does not stop there, Courtney is known for her thoughtfulness, friendliness, and ability to make our clients feel like a part of our firms’ family. Courtney is known by her colleagues for her ability to follow through, prioritize, and stay calm under pressure.

Courtney resides in Chesapeake, Virginia, with her husband, Landon, and their two children. She loves spending time with her family and friends.
